Types of Print

Digital Xpress Printing – We have the newest technology in high end laser printing to create immaculate products with an amazingly fast turnaround. This gives you the rare opportunity to get small quantity full color printing at a fraction of the cost of other printing and copy companies. This is a great way to test market your print concepts and strategies. Minimum quantity 50 pieces except posters, recommended maximum quantity 2,500. Estimated 3-5 day turnaround on most projects, same day or 24 hour rush turnaround may be available. Very minimal roller streaks may be slightly visible on some darker colors.

High Volume Gang Run Printing – We utilize large sheets of paper and lay multiple jobs next to each other on the sheet to decrease costs and increase production time.  All gang runs are printed full color two sided with full bleeds. We aim to get the best quality and color possible. We can not guarantee exact color matching with CMYK process gang run printing.

Large Format Printing – Our Kodak large format printer produces amazing high end vivid colors that will catch your viewers attention.  We can print full color one sided as large as 3.5 feet by 100 feet. We print posters on a thick photo gloss text paper. Banners are printed on a thick durable vinyl that includes grommets and can be used indoors or outdoors. Also capable of printing on backlit sign material and artist canvas. Estimated turnaround is 3 to 5 days on most projects.

Common Paper Stocks

120lb C2S Cover or 12pt Cover Paper - Thick card stock commonly used for business cards, postcards, door hangers, pocket folders, thick brochures, and other various sizes. Offered with aqueous or UV coating.

100lb Gloss Text – An above standard text weight paper commonly used for brochures, newsletters, flat flyers, booklets. Paper has natural semi gloss. Text weight estimated job turnaround 7-10 business days.

100lb C2S Cover – Slight gloss cover stock used for Digital Xpress postcards, thick brochures, rack cards.

100lb Matte Cover-  A bright white cover stock with no coating. Used for Digital Xpress postcards, thick brochures, rack cards.

12pt Kromkote - Used for Digital Xpress business cards only. Gloss coating on front and slight gloss back.

Custom papers and sticker stocks may be available on a per quote basis.

Coatings

Aqueous Coating - Slight gloss coating that can be added onto our 120lb cover weight products. Capable of being written on with most pens. Fast turnaround, printing estimated complete in 5 business days.

UV-1 Coating - High gloss UV coating on front side with a slight gloss coating on back. Commonly used for postcard mailers and can be imprinted or written on back side. Use our mail services to print your address lists directly onto your postcards. Also good for people who like to write quotes or notes on the backs of their business cards. Estimated turnaround 7 business days. Allow up to 2 weeks turnaround if we are printing and mailing.

UV-2 Coating - High gloss UV coating on both sides which gives a high end shine & thick glossy feel. Durable and somewhat weather resistant. UV coating cannot be written or imprinted on. Estimated turnaround for UV products is 7 business days.

Submitting Artwork

To offer our great turnaround and great price MediaFX has streamlined the artwork requirements for submitting designs and other artwork. During your order process you will be prompted to upload any files directly to our website that are to be used in print or design.

Preferred File Types: Outlined EPS, Flattened High Resolution PDF, JPEG, TIFF.

Other File Types: Publisher, Word, Corel (these formats require a print setup and redesign cos)

Resolution: all images should be at least 300 dpi (dots per inch) or greater

Color Format: CMYK to assure the truest color

Bleeds: please leave at least an 1/8th inch bleed from edges to avoid any text or graphics from being cut off. On business cards please leave 3/16th bleed.

Payment Terms

MediaFX’s easy online ordering is the fastest way to get your account setup and order started. Due to the speed of our turnarounds and production all orders must be prepaid. We accept all major credit cards. If you would like to pay for your order by check it will not print until the check has cleared.  We look forward to doing business with you.
